Someone said that the samurai in that chapter looked like Storm Troopers, I agree, they do look like them. Of course in the anime they'll have colors, but since it's manga and it's black and white, it's easier to make a Star Wars joke about them.

So I decided to make Kankurou a Star Wars fan :3 And have him get all excited about stuff.

Plus it's fun drawing the sand sibs in their new outfits.
Temari tells Kankurou off but Kankurou does have a reason to point out the Star Wars things, haha, he see's a AT-At , the ones from the Empire Strikes Back movie

Had to use alot of reference to draw the Snow Walker.

Naruto at times is similar to Star Wars in many things, so yeah, Star Wars jokes with Naruto works
